Cold Weather Settles in

Winter has definitely settled into the Valley, and the frosts of the last few mornings have reminded us all that we’re alive! Despite the shivers, there really is no better sight in the morning than a pea-soup fog that lifts to reveal fresh winter sunshine. (If only it warmed us up a little). At least the days are fine enough to spend outside without too much fear of losing a nose to frostbite, and the kids can still enjoy a morning at the park or playing sport. For those of us with a passion for the white stuff, the snow fields are close enough for a day trip, or even a weekender. The Bega Valley definitely still has a lot to offer, even in the colder months… And if all else fails, we can take advantage of the cold nights, and snuggle up under a blanket with a hot chocolate and the latest movies. What more could you want?!
