Call for Asbestos Warnings - Applicable to Bega Real Estate

The Asbestos Diseases Foundation of Australia (ADFA) says Asbestos warnings should be broadcast by all television networks during home renovation programs. The call comes after the Nine Network announced it would broadcast warnings about the dangers of asbestos on The Block. Bega has many old buildings and before people renovate they should make sure they are aware of what their home is made of.

The TV channel has been worried for some time that the home renovation craze could produce a second wave of asbestos-related illness, so its decision to is absolutely vital. The other networks need to show a similar level of responsibility. Unions NSW has also welcomed Nine’s decision.
